The name Selenite comes from Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon. This stone has a moonlike angelic virbration of stillness and peace.
The Triple Goddess symbol represents the triunity of the Maiden, the Mother and the Crone; the Goddess of the Moon, the Earth, and Childbirth. It also symbolises the stages of the moon: Waxing, Full and Waning moon. The godess symbol is engraved in the stone.
